Why This Deck Is All Ethan
The theme carries the deck: almost every card is an Ethan's card. Ethan's Ho-Oh ex is the payoff attacker, the Ethan's Cyndaquil → Quilava → Typhlosion line is the Fire engine that fuels it, and the Ethan's Slugma → Magcargo line rounds out the support — plus Ethan's Adventure for on-theme Trainer support. The only neutral cards are the format-standard draw and search staples every deck runs.
How to Play It
This is a build-and-power-up Fire deck. Get the Cyndaquil line going early, evolve into Typhlosion to fuel your board with Fire Energy, and bring Ho-Oh ex online as your heavy hitter. Use Buddy-Buddy Poffin and Ultra Ball to find your Basics, Lillie's Determination to keep the cards flowing, and Boss's Orders to pick off the Pokémon you want gone. The high Fire count keeps your attachments and acceleration consistent.

ex. Ethan's Ho-Oh ex gives up two Prize cards when knocked out. It's your closer, so set it up behind a wall of evolving Pokémon rather than exposing it early.
